12 DEG BEN 0 Posted April 20, 2007 Can any electrical brain please tell me how to wire up a reverse light signal into my sat nav head unit as it seems to be a requirement and Ive no idea where to begin. I know where it belongs on the iso lead but where do i feed off of the light circuit. Thanks
Dec 1 Posted April 20, 2007 I cant remember which pin is needed on the iso plug, but it is really easy to get the feed for it! I just used the + lead from the light for the heater controls!
thetino 0 Posted April 25, 2007 If it is a +ve signal that you need, the easiest but slightly long winded way is to grab it from the reverse lamp.
12 DEG BEN 0 Posted April 25, 2007 It is a 12v positive im after. Just wondering where I should pinch it from. Probably down the side of the drivers seat If I new the colour im looking for. Was worried about shorting out that system but I guess the bluaupunkt would have delt with that. What colour wire am I after?
