Crazy Idle-maybe broken Vacuum Hose?

Recommended Posts

i turned my corrado yesterday morning and -splutter splutter, clank- it stalled, and this time it wasn't my fualt  I live in Texas and it was cold that morning (only about 40-50, but cold for Texas) i don't know if that was it. the idle stabalizes after the engine warms up tho. i checked out the vacuum hose and the cloth around the hose is frayed and bent at a pretty severe angle. what is the problem/what can I do?

I would start by replacing this hose & making sure the new one runs as straight as it should.
