G60 CO Emissions...

Recommended Posts

I know this subject has been covered several times before, but i guess that´s our posts who keep the forum alive, otherway this would seem like an ordinary library... :)

So i took this morning to give some good threatment to my 1992 Jet, i ended up by setiing the CO value.

I don´t own a wideband, neither know anyone who does. :(

I wonder if somebody can tell me which % of C0 is measured when the car is properly set-up at stoichometric point 14,7:1

All cars are diferent, but i guess that there´s a nominal value? 8)

By the way, i strongly suggest all G60 owners to check up their lambda´s millage, check igniton timing and CO.

I did this today and the car runs much better! :D

At the first time i thought that it was only my imagination... LoL But then i realised that even the exhaust sound is different!

I love G60´s!!! :D

Cheers,

Hi Steve!

Quality and useful information you left there! :)

I guess that´s a good start, apart from not having a wideband.

But... 0.25% CO seems very low...

Maybe you meant 2.5%???

I´m running with a cat, where in the exhaust pipes did you get that reading?

took mine for an mot recently

CO was 0.13

HC was 20 ppm

MOT tester said that it seemed very low and was better than some of the new cars

No Cat on mine or Lambda

As long as it passes suppose its all good huh?
