Laughingboy 0 Posted June 5, 2007 Just a quick one, would someone with Etka or Etos check to see it there are different speedo cables across the corrado range. I've just noticed that the speedo on my 91 16v C is still out even though I'm running 15's on 195/50/15 tires!! :( When traffic is going about 50 i'm reading almost 60mph! I'd read somewhere that on mk1's there were diferent speedo cables for different engine sizes. the main difference being the number of teeth on the bit that goes inside the box. just wondered if the Corrado was the same. Any help would be grand
davidwort 0 Posted June 5, 2007 a 1991 16v could be either cable driven or electronic sender for the speedo, if you have a digital mileometer it'll be an electronic sender, I can't see any alternative parts for either, only the auto-box cars are different. The mechanical speedo's aren't very accurate, mine overreads by about 6-7mph @ 30mph (on 195-50-15's)
