Rear calipers 93>?

Recommended Posts

I need a pair of rear calipers and just had a look on GSF. There different calipers listed for 93>, what's the difference?

Not sure on the difference, I always thought that the rears were all the same. Why don't you replace them with some MK4 golf items? Just get some of the braided goodrich lines from somewhere like C&R, as they have different fittings. I got some Golf calipers from a breakers for £80 delivered, and the lines were about £25 I think.

I was originally looking for mk4 calipers but couldn't find any at a decent price. £80 sounds good though so I'll give some breakers a ring.

mk3 style with a re-desiged hand brake release mech, fit straight on with same hoses as early ones.

Worth noting that the handbrake mech is actually part of the carrier, not the calliper...

???

I was referring to the sprung loaded mechanism in the caliper, the mk3 ones don't have the exposed parts that sieze easily on the mk2 ones.
