Two MOT's in one day.... - 1 pass one fail.. meh

I must be mad, my Mk 1 Golf went in for an MOT this morning, failed, rear brakes, bit of welding.... :( Sorted already though! yay! But as we speak my C is in for its MOT, smokey, running rich, probably shagged cat C :( . Expensive and stressful day. Still it helps having a mate who can weld!

Woo hoo!! C passed, needed lights adjusting, a bulb, new horn and thats it! Emissions were spot on, in fact a fair bit below the limits, surprised considering the oil stem seals are worn to hell, it smokes on start up and when booting and my map from Stealth left it running rich, not bad for a supercharged motor with nearly 130k on it. :D

 

It was serviced aswell - well it had an oil and filter change, do these myself normally but I wanted a stamp in the book..
