changing throttle body on valver

As writen in title how easy is it to change the trottle body on a 1.816v?

I am totaly new to this and any help would be appreciated!!

easy really, once the inlet boot is removed the main issue is removing the long allen bolts that go through everything into the side of the manifold, a quality allen socket is needed for this, you'll just shaft the bolt heads attempting it with an allen key.

You can port and polish a standard throttle body, as it's the biggest restriction in the inlet system. But I don't know how big a difference it will actually make. I have a ported one for mine, so I will find out in a couple of weeks.

 

Weber 'firebreather' throttle bodies fit too.
