Timing chains.......

Have decided to remove engine from bay and clean up.

 

Gearbox removed and am wanting to do timing chains.

 

Have purchased said 2 chains and 1 tensioner, what else would anyone reccomend whilst im on with it? Are there any other guides, tensioners worth doing, or any other engine parts that would be worth chainging while the lump is out??

 

Have already got.......

 

Clutch Kit,

Manifold and de-cat pipe.

3x Vibra-technics mounts.

Heater matrix to do :(

other little bits n bobs.........

 

Anyting else to reccomend whilst i'm on with it???

Have you had a look at the knowledge base guide?

 

Would do the water pump with the engine out...
