corradog60stage4 0 Posted August 23, 2007 I had a set of brand spanking new momos but problem was the bolt pattern did not fit my scirocco or corrado before i went with the 5 bolt conversion. here is pics of the wheel front back my milwaukee packs alot of torque pilot holes drilled close up enlarged the hole a tad here are some pics of my cutting the area flat where the new bolt hole is. you can see at 9:00 o'clock position of my cutting and at 3:00 o'clock i started to cut there now. close up of the metal i needed to remove to make it flat to accept the new bolt close up of the 3:00 o'clock hole. there i squite a bit of material that needs to be removed and i hate the filings last hole side picture some more pics highly recommend you use a high grade cutting oil like this one for working with aluminium. wheel with cap 8 holes on a momo quasar now the four holes need to be countersunk and voila DIY redrilling of 4 hole alloy wheels to 8 holes. It is better than have 4 oval holes. NOTE : DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME IF YOU DON"T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. VIRGIN stock momo comes only with 4 holes removing material for the bolt head 8 lugs holes at the end
