Redrilling wheels that have 4X114.3 with another pattern

I had a set of brand spanking new momos but problem was the bolt pattern did not fit my scirocco or corrado before i went with the 5 bolt conversion.

here are some pics of my cutting the area flat where the new bolt hole is.

 

you can see at 9:00 o'clock position of my cutting and at 3:00 o'clock i started to cut there now.

there i squite a bit of material that needs to be removed and i hate the filings

highly recommend you use a high grade cutting oil like this one for working with aluminium.

8 holes on a momo quasar

 

now the four holes need to be countersunk and voila DIY redrilling of 4 hole alloy wheels to 8 holes.

It is better than have 4 oval holes.
