Adjusting Mileage To Match My Golf Clocks

Recommended Posts

Is there is a way of adjusting the mileage on Corrado Clocks to read from 145,000 to 126,000? Or is there anyone who will be able to do this? Reason i ask is because i am doing a Corrado dash conversion on my mk2 Golf and wanted the mileage to match.. Any help will be appreciated :)

it usually involves dismantling the clocks and sliding the pin for the small plastic indexing gears out, setting the number wheels to how you want them and then carefully fitting the indexing gears back again. i did this with a spare set of clocks when i thought mine where broken but it turned out to be a loose contact.

I may be wrong but i'm pretty sure its illegal to do this so its probably not the best to advertise expertise on a public forum! maybe keep searching google if you want to do it yourself or like said above the milage correction services should be able to help... i'd imagine there must be a computer program written to do this?

Is not Illegal.

Thats how these companies offer Milage Correction services.

They are correcting milage just as the poster wants to.

Is it a digi feed from the Ecu?
