ewang33 0 Posted August 28, 2007 I know there's a million posts on here about wiring alarms but I've spent the last hour searching and reading.. so I'll ask.. Fitting a new immobilizer and alarm, where is it best to intercept the fuel pump power supply? The original alarm system simply cut off the supply to the starter motor via the steering column (red/blk wire), but this new alarm has an additional fuel pump cut off circuit. I know the fuel pump is controlled by the ecu which in turn controls the fuel pump relay. I'm wondering if the yellow/black ignition wire on the steering column will do the job, or should I go for the relay power supply? If so, anyone know what wire? I have reached my limit of understanding the Bentley wiring diagrams! Not to jeopardize anyones car getting jacked by disclosing the wire colours.. pm me! :D
