g60_Russ 0 Posted November 10, 2003 Hi Everyone, Firstly I would just like to say thanks to everyone who posts here. I have been a member for a couple of months and there are some excelent topics duscused on here. It has been this website that has helped me select my perfect Corrado after 3 months of searching. (although I have wanted one for much longer than that) Picked it up Saturday from Portsmouth, its fairly standard and has been well looked after by an enthusiast. Mystic Blue 1992 G60 76,000 miles on the clock Full leather 17" Hockenheim's sitting on Toyo's Jabba stage 4 supercharger (overhauled 15,000 miles ago)

g60_Russ 0 Posted November 10, 2003 It definatly has had a respray at some time in its life as there are some masking lines in the boot, but seems to be the same color. Anyway if it is moonlight blue, im still chuffed to bits with it. 8)

g60_Russ 0 Posted November 10, 2003 That was one of the main attractions. An old bloke in summerset owned it for 8 years, then the owner and his brother had had it for 3 years and only drove it round the corner to work and back every day & to vw club meetings. Got tonnes of history with it - which is nice aswell.

Henny 0 Posted November 10, 2003 a rare steering wheel for the UK i think Ummm, I got the same one on my G60 when I bought it... I thought all UK G60s had this leather clad wheel? :?
biggrim 0 Posted November 10, 2003 Did you sort the heated leather seats yourself or did the guy who owned it prior to you do it? I'm toying with the idea of getting my heated leathers connected up but wouldn't know where to start. Still need to see if they still work. Got full beige/biscuit leather intreior from a Storm and really want heated seats for the worst of the winter. Your car looks very tidy indeed and seems to have been well looked after. Enjoy it mate, and be careful

Guest Posted November 11, 2003 I personally think Corrados look like Volvo 440 Turbos I have a K Reg Ford Sierra, lovely dark red, 62,000 miles on the clock. Brought it for 600 quid off Arthur Daley. Removed the power steering, I hate all this new technology crap.

Guest Posted November 11, 2003 Its not a Corrado, its a Ford Sierra Shappire 1.8 with all the trimmings. It can do 0-60 in 12 seconds and if you listen carefully the exhaust gives a great humming sound, carefully enhanced by drilling 4 major holes in the downpipe and manifold. It has a full cotton interior, haven't bothered with heated seats as most of the totty I have in the car break major wind to keep the place warm. Im getting some new hubcaps with weekend with my hard earned cash :D
