Sam16v 0 Posted September 25, 2007 have been offered a cupra R engine and gearbox they are currently in the car and running. How complex is it to fit this gearbox with the engine into my car? what parts will i need of the donor car? Do i need cables and slector? mrbeige 0 Posted September 25, 2007 IIRC you'll need the cables and selector and you'll need different driveshaft flanges. I'm pretty sure the flanges off a 2.0 VW Beetle are the ones you'll need. 100mm ones(?) I'm sure someone will be along shortly to confirm/correct!
