jpawl 0 Posted November 15, 2003 I have a problem in which my reverse lights flicker on and off when I'm taking off in 1st gear. :( They work fine in reverse and don't intermittently come on in any other gear as they should not. They only flicker on and off when going from a dead stop and accelerating off. They stop flickering on and off at about 5 mph. This makes me think that there is a wiring issue somewhere. I'm curious if anyone else here has experienced anything else similar and could advise me where to look. I have yet been able to take a look at the reverse light switch on top of the transmission. The car in question is a 5 speed 1990 Corrado G60. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim
stevemac 0 Posted November 16, 2003 Sounds like a loose/faulty reverse switch to me.

jpawl 0 Posted December 1, 2003 I checked the wiring, cleaned up the switch and wiped all the wires down from the oily residue. The problem has since cleared up for now. Thanks, Jim
