The VW TEDDY BEAR - Only one thing could make this worse...

.

... and that's if you lived in Sudan and named your wheel covers Mohammed.

But then named or not named, I think if your car wore these you would indeed deserve a flogging.

Im going to remove my big brakes especially to fit a set of these.

Cant bear the thought of not having a set.

They're made by Ronal, and my local tyrefitter apparently sells the odd set to young ladies.

Now I wouldn't have a set myself but you have to admit they're quite fun, and at least a bit different.

I think they're a great idea for the reasons John says. At least it makes a change from the usual stuff.. even though i'd never go near a set myself!

Mate had a set on his Caddy.. apparently quite desirable in some quarters.. and only in a 14" fitment.. although there are rumours of both a 15" and split versions! Oh and the caps are the same alloy as well so can be fully polished!

You could always detail them as Pudsey and run them once a year!

I bought a set of these at the weekend for £50.

Named them Mohammed, and sold them yesterday for £100.

Does this mean I made a prophet from the wheels?

No 'groans' here, that's a good gag.

I wonder if the car belongs to the golfer in the background. You know how little taste golfers have.

I actually have a set of 15" of these, plus a spare unused one. They're not wheel covers as the first post implied, but fully fledged alloys. The fitted very nicely on the Mrs' Arosa when she had that in Ice Grey, ours are unpainted which are even rarer as it's difficult to get the paint off when they've been painted.

Don't think they'd work on a Raddo though :?

Holy Christ - those are actually alloys?

I assumed they were wheel covers because it says 'Fits 14" only', which seems to suggest a cover. (But I've just seen that beneath that, it states '14 x 6', which obviously means alloy size.)

Don't be silly. Have you not seen the photo on page 1?

Good Buddah, I must be bored: just done a Google image-search and these wheels were actually made by Ronal.

Word of warning - if you're thinking of searching with the terms 'Teddy Bear rims', be prepared to see some mighty strange pornography, my friends.

But I waded manfully through all that cuddly toy porn so you don't have to. You're welcome...
