main beam headlight fuse keeps blowing

Hi

 

any suggestions for the above fault ?? any thoughts appreciated. is running a standard loom although i uprated the bulbs a long time ago. had no probs until recently,

Check for any exposed wire in the loom. It may be grounding itself out.

 

I had the same situation in my Mk3.

bulbs sometimes short out internally its worth a look , disconnect the lights and try that first if they blow fuses with the lights disconected the faults some where else :)
