20valver 0 Posted November 17, 2003 Went to pop the bonnet this morning and the cable went on me!!!!! Pulled off the fuse cover and there is afair bit of slack showing in the cable, although still can't see the snap. Both sides of the bonnet are still firmly locked in place. Is there some sort of back-up method to release the bonnet? ..and how hard is it goin to be to fit a new cable? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Guest Posted November 17, 2003 you can unlock the bonnet by getting under the front of the car, just above the grille.......just pull the cable from there with a pair of pilers hard.......... or call the AA........same happened to me........the cable is only £26 from stealers...
