BBS Montreal II wheels (16's)

Picked up some 2nd hand Mk4 Golf gti montreal 16inch alloys today. Im hoping to fit them to my 96 Vr6, can anyone confirm this wont be a problem before i shell out on a set of tyres ? Any one got a pic of these wheels on a rado ? Any tyre recomendations ?

have often been tempted to see what these look like on a C.. post some photos as soon as you've got them on!!

 

but yes, they'll fit no problem as I'm 99.5 % sure they're 5x100. there is a "tyre discussion thread" on here somewhere which will give u all the discussion you need on brands.

 

I think the wheels are 6.5 x 16 though so 205/40/16 should be the biggest tyres you put on..

I thought 45 was the profile to get on 16's ?

is the size to get mate its keeps the speedo as close to standard as possible
