Heater controls

Recommended Posts

My heater controls dont seem to be right.

Should the wire / cable (blue arrow in pic) should go the hole (red arrow in pic)

I had a tug on the wire / cable and it doesnt seem to come far enough out to let the slider go all the way to the left (if in the hole marked in the pic)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

it looks like the wire with the blue arrow has been bent just above the tip of the blue arrow, it should be straight, once its straight it should reach the hole.

although its worth investigating why it bent in the first place, part of the heater flap system may be jammed.

As coolrado said, it should be straight at the blue arrow.

The slider is the face / feet / windshield control.

Cheers for the replies. Really should have realized it was bent myself

It does take a bit of force to move it so maybe ill investigate. Not sure if i would be able to achieve much anyway due to the lack of access.
