rear demister elements partially working

When I need to demist my boots glass all the elements besides 2 work. Ive visually inspected them and cant see any breaks and tried using a multimeter but because the elements are in paralled then I cant source the break.

 

Any ideas on how i can track down the break, and then fix it? Or is it a case of new glass?

I'd have thought there would be a break in them somewhere, have another closer look, you used to be able to get silver paint from motor factors for fixing the broken points and making a circuit again not sure they were ever a great solution though.

the stuff you need is electrocure, you should be able to get it in halfords but it is about 6 quid, best way to use it is to mask either side of the break in the element with some sticky tape wait for it to fully cure and then carefully remove the tape, it does work as i repaired 4 broken elements on my last car and they worked fine for years.
