Cheap Koni's ????? what to look out for?

Recommended Posts

My friend in cambridge also has a corrado vr6 and has recently put (what he insists are) koni coilovers on his car. he says he paid around £340 from a mail order company.....

sounds great but what should i look out for? i have heard the cheaper ones are not official koni springs (or dampers cant remember which)

if they are genuine it sounds like a bargin to be honest!

Get a name. I don't believe you could get any Koni coil overs for that money. 4 top adjustable shocks would cost you more then that, without any springs!

Awesome sell Konis and I am sure none cost less than £700.

there is no chance that your friend has bought a set of new Koni coil-overs for under £600 let alone under £400 even from a mail order company....the cheapest i've heard of them going for is at inters 2 years ago for when it was £580+ from TSR's stand IIRC........anyway i haggled to get mine to £640 from TSR this year as the Koni representatives were there and thats the cheapest they would let them go for
