1.8 16v starting and general running probs

my car starts first time but sounds like its running on one cylinder and i have to hold down the accelerator then after 5 mins or so depending on how cold it is the rest kick in and it holds revs etc it also dont run right till the temp is above the 70 also when driving in general it feels like i aint gettin full revs then suddenly pulls away really quick this is getting hard work everyday any help anyone

1. do a search, there are soooooooooooooooo many 16v starting problems threads!

 

2. check your vacuum lines, especially the ones underneath the airbox and intake piping. They are fiddly and small and it's hard to see sometimes whether they're connected.
