1.8 16v exhurst issues

i have fitted a jetex system to my 1990 1.8 16v but the system keeps the front box i need to loss it cos i have lowered the car and it keeps hitting things does any one know where i can get a stright through pipe from also is this box part of the down pipe help please

if the car's ,that low you'll be hitting the sump on things too! They don't usually hang that low so I'd check the engine mounts to make sure there's not something else wrong.

The front silencer is part of the downpipe and the ways to replace it would be a 2.0 16v downpipe and de-cat pipe or an all in one manifold and downpipe (four-branch).

i have found a 2.0 16v de cat pipe on ebay does anyone know if this will fit on to a 1.8 16v manifold thanks

no mate, the 1.8 downpipe is too long as it never had a cat, you need a 2.016v downpipe to match to that

 

 

you need (1) below, plus de-cat pipe, rather than (1a) that you have at the moment
