Bad column switch, double headlight bulb and double spotlight bulb failure. Double fullbeam fuse failure. Not in any order.

Wet floors could be leaky matrix, bad door seals. Bad door foils, the ones behind the door cards. When you next have some rain have a really close look at the door rubbers and the bottoms of the doors. Make sure the drain holes in the doors are clear. The 4 drains for the sunroof could be blocked to?

Not sure if there are fuses or breakers for the windows. Do you have a Bentley manual, thats the beast to have..

The only time I did in Norway was in the summer. Beautiful. The fuse board is on the drivers side. The lid has the major fuses listed on it. So that should tell you which is which.

Do the dip beams work ok? When you go to main beam do you end up with just the side lights??

With the ign on shield you window switchs, are they lit up in green?

What do you do by the way, so we can pitch the advice at the right level.

Are you a brit? I met a lad at Oslo, working for SAS he was exRAF Tornados. He met a Norweigian girl when he was on detachment and ended up moving over there.

I'll have a read of the bentley later and try and give you some answers.

Cheers

Gavin

I take it you are a Scouser then. I live in Newton le Willows near Haydock. Although I am from York originally. I rated Oslo highly for the 'scenery'

How did you end up in Norway?

I was on a contracting job at Gardermoen. Top working conditions, defo the best contracting job I have had. Really easy going people.

I lived in a bedsit the company provided, pretty close to the Palace. It was like pages 25,26,40,41 and 53 out of the IKEA catalogue!!!!!!!!!

I'd go back but the tax was tremendous and beer was proper pricey. Even more than London nightclubs.

info from work in the morning

My c has a wet floor in the rear both sides

Check the seal around the top of the boot lid.

Remove the rear seats and have a look under the carpet in the back of the car, there's several rubber gromets around there which, if missing, could allow water into the car.

Check that your rear wash/wipe works. If no water is coming out (and it's not frozen! ) then the pipe could have split/come off and could be leaking water into the rear of the car.

Check the drains on the sunroof, there's one in each corner. It means dropping the roof lining out, but if one of the rubber tubes has come loose then it could be leaking into the car rather than draining out as it's supposed to. :?

If the guy you bought the car off had a big stereo, he may well have put some random holes in the floor to hold down amps and the like, it's worth getting under the car and checking for these as well, as it only takes a small hole to let a lot of water in! :?

if it was a leaky matrix woudnt the front footwell be wet aswell??

yup. If your front carpets are dry, then it's unlikely to be the matrix! 8)

Hope this helps.... Good luck! 8)
