too hot 0 Posted February 22, 2008 Hi welcome to the Forum. Nice looking G60 course white is the new silver so you are very "in" this year :) Is that an ominous RAC van lurking in the background to one of the pics :) or just a look alike
STU175 0 Posted August 4, 2009 (edited) to reply to a previous post yes that is a rac van. i used to work for RAC Auto windscreens Thought it was time to update my gallery post a few pics of my car. After an incident bout a year ago with my bonnet deciding to open at 70 it all kick started a bit of a restoration. 😄 After a long arguement with insurance managed to get it all fixed and got a full respray as well, all tho that did involve me stripping the car for him and putting it back together. i thought i might as well try and find a new door to replace a rusty one i had on while i was at it and kinda ended up buying other whole corrado LOL Well that was it b4 i knew it i was swopping all sorts over "might as well do that while am at, that ones better nick than this one " you know how it starts!? So far swopped from early grey interior to a mint late black interior, fitted the late bonnet and wings, late rear bumper, rad support, headlights, new clutch and passat td gearbox, 68mm pulley n chip, replaced wishbones, steering rod ends, anti roll bar bushes, new calipers, new exhaust soon to be de catted, thats about it i think! and before anyone says it yes i know, i should have had the arches rolled when i had it sprayed. hindsights a wonderful thing. 😄 Might well see it at some meets at some point soon! Jim 2 Posted August 30, 2009 All red or dark tinted OE lights would look sweet on a nice clean white G60 like that! Nice looking motor :)
Wastegate86 0 Posted August 30, 2009 Cool cheers dude, something to think about :salute: all red rears look ace on white rado....did it to mine last week would guess you could just spray the ones you have without a problem
V-Dubstar 0 Posted August 31, 2009 Yes mate: lowered + Borbet A's = schweeeet!! Again tho, not a fan of those rear clusters! Like Jim said, all red or dark! No lexarse lights here man :salute:

STU175 0 Posted August 31, 2009 cheers for the comments guys :D red or tinted cant decide? i will have to search for photos of each i guess
Jim 2 Posted August 31, 2009 Tinted always looks good because the strong contrast between black and white always looks really striking. Red is good but comes with its share of issues such as having indicator bulbs being very dull and flashing red... unless you do some cool pinstriping or something to help let the amber light through! Jim Bowen 1 Posted August 31, 2009 i'd have all red rears on that, will look nice and modern.
V-Dubstar 0 Posted August 31, 2009 red or tinted cant decide? Haha that's an executive decision ur gonna have to make  I think personally I'd tint just the top half of the lights...but then that's what Im gonna do to mine so im a lil biased :D
BigTartanJudge 0 Posted August 31, 2009 All red crystals (prof. done) with reverse lights left for obvious reasons: Standard rears, half-tinted using CC of Canada guide: The red lights flash orange no problems using green tinted bulbs (or you can use orange LED bulbs, but you will need to run resistors as well to get them to flash at correct speed) If you want more pics of the white one to help you decide then let me know, Cheers

STU175 0 Posted March 14, 2010 (edited) finally got it sitting how i want it 😄 quick clean and photo update 😄 😄 😄 😄 😄 not sure on the grille now! all comments welcome Edited Monday at 10:40 AM by STU175
BigTartanJudge 0 Posted March 17, 2010 Not sure on the front splitter being CC'd and the grille, kinda needs some black to break it all up IMO. Also, you need to lose the rear lights  Delocked handles too maybe in black to break up the sides ?
STU175 0 Posted March 17, 2010 yeah i see what your saying. gotta put on a black 50mm front splitter any way, was thinkin i might try leaving grille spoiler white rest of grille black may work better. cant delock till alarm problem sorted :( got a set of standard rear lights but still not sure wot to do with them. considering standard grille now aswell
Rob_G60 0 Posted March 17, 2010 very noce mte, Black Grill and lower splitter would look spot imo
