A couple of brain teasers

Ok I was fitting my front speakers today and came across a few things firstly whats this? Wasn't plugged in. Should it be? seems to have a single blue/white wire coming off it.

Also this thing is next to my headlight switch. I know what the red light is but what does the symbol mean?

Yeah I know. I found the lost city of Atlantis and a perectly presevered wooly mammoth behind there today, aswell as that blue relay type thing.

 

Really cant work out what it is!!!!

tbh, it's prob for an old ICE sub/amp install or an old Immoblisier.

 

I know my car still has 2 physically behind the dash (immobs, not subs)

 

If I can get my head around these wiring diagrams and I can find metres and metres of the exact same wire, I may well re-wire my dash this summer.

the blue relay is a flasher relay ( the clue is in the pictures on it ) :D

its an electronic one that looks like it was fitted in conjunction with the dash light for the trailer indicators , i take it the towbar is gone off the car ?
