TrentSC 0 Posted April 4, 2008 OK, you've got to account for the fact that I'm vaguely competent with a spanner, but not much. My Corrado has dents in both doors, and rather than getting them resprayed, I'm looking at sourcing colour-matched replacements and simply bunging them in. So, just how complex is this, and might there be a guide to getting this done which is understandable for the average Joe? Ta muchly.
Critical_Mass 10 Posted April 4, 2008 Dont think its a mega job tbh. unbolt the hinges and the other hinge thing  thats it isnt it. Make sure you suppost the door before hand though. I think the hardest part of it is getting it hung straight once the replacement is on.
boost monkey 0 Posted April 4, 2008 yeah, support the door when you undo the main hinge at the A-pillar else the hinge will buckle. This is not good, you will not high-five should this happen unless you're playing the "Hingy Breaky" boardgame at the time in which case have 5 points!
