Steering rack

There might be some newer generation ones which will fit, but you'll have to search: there is plenty of info on here though.

 

I refurbed one off a low-mileage car which will be going on as soon as my spare subframe arrives :salute:

I'll need to double check on it, but afaik a friend of mine fitted a rack from an Ibiza/Leon to his valver, as his standard refurbed one kept springing leaks!

I'd appreciate that Dec. From what I've seen in searches people seem to have a few probs with refurbed racks, hence the post.

my rack is leet. they're not too hard to DIY if you're confident. I wouldn't pay any company to refurb anything I don't think.

Ok, my friend has a rack from a Seat Inca (also the same rack as in a VW caddy) fitted to his rado. Apparently the rack just needs the knuckle off a Toledo fitted to it as the spline pattern is slightly different.
