Found this the other day, they've only just come out, im gunna get two of these when i get my audioscape door builds

Just looked at the specs.

 

"It is not intended as an infinite-baffle speaker (our XR650-CW component woofer is better suited for that application.)"

 

Not sure as if these will work with door builds, from their web site the implication is that these are designed for an enclosure. :lol:

 

4 of these in a long enclosure running along the base of the rear seat back would be brilliant. The boot would still be usable. If you wired each pair in series and then parallel to the amp you would still have 4 Ohms. The box could be built exactley the same width as the gap between the suspension turrets and the panel that faces the seats a little oversized to stop it moving around. The benefit of all this - very tight bass. I hope the diagram is right.

 

 

 

You could then cut the frequency on the front doors rolling of at 80Hz and probably wouldn't need the audioscapes, especially if you strengthen the stock enclosures with glass fibre on the inside. Best to play with the roll off to get the best results.[fade][/fade]

Yeah, i did see that they are intended for an enclosure, but i was going to try and seal off the audioscape builds, so they will be in a small enclosure
