lee_golf_v5 0 Posted May 14, 2008 Well to be honest it is mine, I only found out when a prospective purchaser came and did a HPI check at the last minute, I was ready to let it go for £2k for a quick sale and so that I could get a cheap run around for work. Now im up the shitter to be honest. Lee
coolrado 0 Posted May 14, 2008 do you know any of the details of the damage? it doesn't take much to write one off, even a bonnet and bumper seems like enough to write one off, if you know the damage was minor and can show prospective buyers that its been repaired to a good standard it shouldn't effect the price too badly, however if it was more serious structural damage and required jigging or major work then that will put a lot of people off. either way it will effect the price it just depends how badly. Dec 1 Posted May 14, 2008 There was a cat-C VR6 listed here for 2k afaik. And it sold pretty quickly (outside the forum) Obviously it would depend on the cars spec and history, but I wouldn't have thought you would have to sell it for much under 2k
