evening all,

im the guy that sneaked in the elan at the end.

162.5bhp

123.5bhp(at the wheels)

145lbf-ft torque.

this is about standard(0.5bar boost) because the car has boost creep with the bleed valve open.

the car runs at 0.8bar boost on the road. :D

thanx for the race on the way there(you know who you all are) :D

cheers, stephen.

p.s. if you want to know more about the car go to http://www.lotuselancentral.com

got the quote today:new rear spoiler £285.36

new tailgate £584.71

bond kit to swap over rear glass £36

£282 in labour

£82.82 in paint and materials

for a grand total of £1493.30 ouch!!! so glad the works insurance has copped it for this one cause that would have fatally wounded the walletand screwed up the xmas plans altogether

The car may be chipped according to Jim, should have asked him if it would be obvious if i open the ecu to check.

It sure is Joe...

If it's Superchiped, it'll normally have a Superchips sticker on the EPROM, if it's AmD'd it'll have a carrier / protection board onto the main board, with the EPROM into that...also the little shiny covered section over the EPROM will be missing with an AmD chip fitted to facilitate the height of the carrier board & EPROM.

Good to hear you're happy with the diff!

Need to get mine "serviced" by Star Brian, that is some impressive figures!

:p you forgot MOT'd too  ....it really is amazing what star-p can do when they "just" repair suspension damage and MoT a C  :p

needless to say good figures tho  .............pity it wasn't on the rollers on the 30th :( ........still nevermind there's always the VWCCGB one in 2004............normally march time

hmm... didn't think an MOT would affect the power...

maybe the suspension repair did tho :?

fixed something that was holding the car back from releasing its true grunt?

 looking forward to the CCGB one. didnt get to hear it on the rollers, i was to late. shame cause it sounds mental on the rollers when it gets a go

So i get to add Corrado G60 to the list of battles won

Obviously I would allow you a re-match in the dry if I was fair, but i'm a bad loser so I won't

Was beside you at the lights, pulled away to hear something sweet revving but not going anywhere, then it was like a scene from Top Gun, the girlfriend was like, where'd he go... I was like, where'd whoooooooooo go!!

Wasn't so smart when I passed the Volvo painted in nice blue and yellow squares jus up the road, doing almost double the limit!! Good job they were waiting to escort those coaches or would have some points for winning the race and I am not speaking about brownie points either

Brian, I don't know who or what you are talking about :D :D

Have you been drinking Optimax again??

Unfortunately a rear ending saxo driver resulted in Mr R Starr being unable to attend the RR Day to see what his was kicking out

At least I dealt with a certain cocky Golf Gti 8v owner, don't mind getting beat by a fellow 16v

Need more POWER
