How far can you strip them down?

 

1 Remove mirror from car

2 Remove mirror glass and electrical conectors

3 Undo 4 screws that hold plastic trim to mirror cover

4 Remove black plastic trim

 

Is that it? or can you remove the gubings out from the mirror cover itself?
