Jim 2 Posted February 25, 2003 jims16v, The stereo does have the original ISO plug in the rear of the unit the only problem the wires have been cut close in to the head unit so a few connector blocks would be needed to wire it in.To be honest if it was me and I was trading in I would just stick it in the dash to fill up the hole and it would be the dealers problem after that. :!: :!: It does have the cage and manual too. Ah.. well thanks for getting back to me with more info but I guess I had better pass then. Honestly, I am complete crap when it comes to electrical stuff like this, and connecting up a stereo via an ISO connector is about as far as my stereo installation knowledge goes. Thanks anyway :)
Valver 0 Posted February 26, 2003 Hey - by the way - do you ever drive up near Warwick University, more specifically were you up near there last week? My mum mentioned that she saw a 'beautiful original golf' in a blue colour with nice alloys. She said it was absolutely spotless. Was it you?? :) Yeh, I sometimes drive up there as a mate lives not too far way, but 'beautiful original' and blue is certainly not mine! Mine's Jade Green, on 9x16" rims and not many original parts!!! 8)
