dizzydubbers_missis 0 Posted June 26, 2008 I was driving down the motorway yesterday and my grill just lifted off and scratched up over my bonnet and landed on my windscreen, then vanished off into the bank. I pulled over cuz i sh*it my pants when it hit the window cuz it was so loud and i obviously didnt expect it. Couldnt find my grill either. My hubby spent ages painting it (its the after market badgless one) only a few weeks ago. I dont understand why it fell off, the screws are still in place?? vwdeviant 0 Posted June 26, 2008 If its one of those one-piece spoiler/grill things have heard this happen a few times. Think they need more than the 3-4 screws they give you. Get a decent badgeless 3-slat grill and make sure the rubber grommets are in place in the 3 holes and all will be fine. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
