Identifying chassis number correctly?

Hi guys,

 

I'm on vagcat trying to find out some part numbers on some chassis-dependant little clips and whatnot.

 

My chassis number off my V5 is WVW...50ZLK026811. Does this mean that the part I need to use for Vagcat is Z and then the 6 digit number at the end or do I need to use the L or the K?

decided that it's prob the K and the numbers I need to use seeing as mine's an early.

K= Karmann (Osnabruck)

 

L is the model year (1990)

 

Accoring to the serial number yours rolled out the factory in July sometime.

Ah right! Yeah there's a VIN identifier online somewhere.

 

I just need to know which letter VAGCAT refers to on the chassis-specific parts :salute:
