BBS Wheel Offset Question for a 1990 G60

Recommended Posts

I just picked up a set of BBS RF's 16x7.5 et 33 4x100. I have yet to put them on the car because I am thinking I may want to make them 16x8 with a wider lip and use a 195/40 series tire for the stretch look. Am I going to have to get the arches pulled on the front and back? And will the offset change with a wider lip? or just leave them be? I am down grading from a 16x9 e15 Brock B1 because the previous owner had them on there and I am looking to make the car my own plus they rubbed all over the place. I have read and re-read posts and now my head is just spinning. if anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it!

Sweet choice of wheels mate, and your ride is very like my old white G60 ! As far as your wheels go, 16x7.5 et 33 4x100 will be fine, no probs. If you go to 8" wide, you might need the rear arches rolled but as long as you stick with 195/40 on the front and 205/40 tyres on the rear you will be fine mate. The car itself will cope with 8x16" all-round, however, it it was me and for driveability, I would keep it at 7.5x16" on the fronts and 8x16" at the rear,

Cheers and HTH.
