veedubnutz 0 Posted September 29, 2008 Hi chaps, Got a quick query regarding my sunroof motor. Yesterday I took out my fubar'ed corrado tin roof and replaced it with a shiny passat glass roof. This fitted in almost perfectly(slight gap around the edge, but i can live with that), but only now have I noticed the wiring on the roof motor is different. On the new motor, there is only a 3 pin plug, whereas the old one had about 5 IIRC(Corrado is a 93k, the roof was fited to a J plater). Is there any way to hard wire the motor in by chopping the cables about, or am I going to need a new motor?
