Bally 0 Posted December 16, 2003 engine/02m cost 1k + vat loom and dta approx 1k + vat mapping session approx 700 + vat 3 bar map sensor / vvt replacement / hoses / switches / drive shafts etc etc 1k roughly!! yes we fitted it ourselves took about 5 weeks working on it nights and weekends (when the kids would let us!!) matt at designa dubs will fit one running oem ecu for around 4k and ive known him complete a MKI in a weekend 8) Ok cheers, someone at Stealth's is building a 1.8T, mate of myn who's had loads of bits done by them mailed me this.. a dragon green carroda with a 1.8t 225 engine... he ripped out the bottom end and built it to a 2.1l...big turb...big head...6 speed box...new mangement and ecu...and it will have nearly 400 break... stealth racing are doing the conversation.. hes a mecahnic for them anyway...so it will cost him the bits only... sounds awesome, want to go in one, then I'll see what happens :wink: Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

skid 1 Posted December 16, 2003 Just hit 37k on my G60 :shock: :D But its now in hibernation for the cold winter months :( Bought myself an old sierra(WHAT A FORD :oops: )XR 4x4 for sliding about in the snow :lol: So hopefully it will save some mileage on the corrado. biggrim 0 Posted December 16, 2003 Lucky if I do 20 miles a week. Really depends on what I do though, only really use it some weekends and the odd weeknight to get to the recording studio.
