mark16v 0 Posted December 1, 2008 this might be a stupid question, but is the heater matrix out of the phase 2 corrado the same as the one in the mk3 golf? my friend has the golf and his heater matrix has packed up and i know this is a common fault on the corrado and is well covered on here. thanks in advance for any help! horney 0 Posted December 1, 2008 Yeah it will be. Pretty much all the dub range used the same heater box behind the dash. MKII and MKIII Golf, B3 and B4 Passat and Rado. If you look up heater matrix on GSF for all those you should find the part number is the same for all of them. Whatever you do wash the new matrix with soapy water before you fit it to remove the protective layer of oil otherwise it will stink for ages!
