THREAD WORN IN REAR WHEEL HUB

Changed rear wheel and whilst doin up the wheel bolts three of em wont tighten up, so can i get them recoiled as i only fitted new rear discs last year

or ? any help much appreciated :pale:

Bit worrying- what brand of disk?? Sure the wheel bolts are not too long?

 

I would get a thread restoring kit to clean the threads with (M12x1.5mm for 4 Stud) or replace the bolts

 

New disc will be way cheaper than helicoiling - even after new bearings etc

UPDATE

I decided to fit standard rear disc and bearings to get over problem. re thread the disc wheel bolt holes is probebly not a safe option :shock:

I suppose if you make sure you put the locking wheel bolt in that hole, then you'll minimise risks. But still.
