late Rear Bench mountings..

as title, basically i want to know whether i can fit my early bench into a late spec c, obviously the seats will fit but im not 100% if there is the bracket for the hump to click onto.

 

anyone know?

Does the bench your fitting have a hump and what model are you fitting to

 

its a 2.0 16v, has a late interior but has early doorcards and heater controls. i have a complete black early interior that will be going in, so does have the hump..

So, did it have a hump, if so there should be no problem

its got a flat rear bench..

You might need a different rear part of the centre console where the ashtray is??

 

 

ill be changing the interior over to black so will be putting in a new centre tunnel

The fixing points for the rear hump. This is from an '89 car...

Arse.. anyone know if "flat rear seat" vesions have these brackets just hiding under the seat/Tunnel??? :confused4:

Neither the bracket or the holding clip were there on my previous flat-benched valver. I remember people doing the conversion in the past had to either weld in a bracket chopped off a donor car, or make up a cusom backet. :cry:
