Gforceuk 0 Posted January 10, 2009 Hi again all. I did think that my grill badge was a silver VR6 one . But taking a closer look theres a few specs of red on it which means its just worn off or the previous owner fancied a silver badge. I've looked for a red on on ebay and other places with no luck. Is it easier to buy a few cans of paint and primer and spray it or does anyone know anywhere i can pick one up relatively cheaply. Cheers
Gforceuk 0 Posted January 10, 2009 well i decided to paint it. I put some paint on it after a bit of sanding and it turns out it was originally red but the muppet who had it before me sprayed it sliver....why i have no idea.. So i'm touching it up with red and black enamel paint and some glossy laquer.
greasegriff 0 Posted January 16, 2009 Mine's silver but I fancy a red one too to be honest! Can you get a pic up once it's painted and back on?

greasegriff 0 Posted January 17, 2009 That looks like a really nice job! Do any C's come with red badges as standard? Is it just Storm's that have silver ones? Think I'll get and do mine at some point. Spray lacquer or pot?
