which front mounted intercooler corrado 20v

starting a 20v corrado project running k04 020 turbo setup looking for advice on front mounted intercooler have been told merc sprinter intercooler is ok and some bmw ones? does anyone know of any others i could use that fit well between front legs i want to retain tow eye hook. thanks

any particular reason you want to keep the towing eye?

the golf rallye intercooler is a perfect fit if you remove the towing eye.

golf g60 intercooler retains the towing eye i think.

merc sprinter will fill, just. (think you need to remove the eye though)

if not do you know anyone who can ally weld? if so, get a cheap universal one off the bay and modify the end caps.

Had a look at the ones on ebay seem very cheap would the quality be there? would they be efficient (work properly) had hoped to find one of the shelf thats a good fit.

Landrover TD5 intercoolers fit, thats what I fitted to my G60.

does the land rover intercooler run metal end caps? you need 1 with metal end caps if you are running decent boost

I did have a plastic end when I brought it but had a metal one made to a more golf G60 style to help it between the rad and the battery
