flyte 0 Posted January 19, 2009 I know this has been discussed and I have read a warning on this, but I thought it best to post this again jsut incase anyone is new to Corrados or had forgotten like me! Whilst taking the dash out to change my heater matrix, I was shocked to see that the heater speed control (mounted on top of the blower unit) at some time had caught fire! I have attached the pic and believe this was pre me owning the car, but I would say its worth popping the glove box out and giving it a check over, which could be done in 10 mins. Sorry if u know about it, but if you dont I hope it helps! S

flyte 0 Posted January 19, 2009 I am sure their are docs on this in the archive, but behind the glove box is the blower motor, and on top of that the speed control unit, i found mine had melted and burnt the insulation, if you pop out the glove box ( 4 screws) you should be able to inspect it with a torch :) hope this helps!
