Gruven Bonnet clip replacement

Has anybody seen or used this before, somebody was using one of these on VWvortex. Wish i had known about these before i had to buy the whole cable from VW. At least i will know for next time :sad:

i'm not sure where that goes, i can't work it out, i replace my cable and can't remember a dodgy clip anywhere

I had that clip go on mine one day round at Toad's, he asked to have a look under my bonnet so I tried to open the bonnet..nothing then thunk. Oh bugger.... :sad: Fortunately the man is a leg end and sorted me with a cunning piece of rope to open it up.

Anyhoo...

Its by the handle in the footwell.

How much is a new grille, and a new cable if you have the existing clip break?

:) Lol. That was a bit of a pain in the arse when it went. Lucky I'd just had to fix mine, so had a little practice with them.

i'm going to investigate my car now as i can't work it out :lol:

 

i don't mind buying one, as i've had every other part of the cable break now and had to smash up a grill last time, and it was the one i've superglued my VR6 badge to :brickwall:
