Not worth skimping the £40 it'll cost you... You've just had the engine sorted so why risk something that may incurr your wrath later on... Remember the Original header (which is what's probably on yours) has been there performing faithfully for 17yrs!

do not get a gsf header tank and cap,they dont seal properly and will give u all sorts of problems

I wouldn't say that .. I got one from VW Spares (AVS) and it has been fine so far (although I will touch my desk just in case).
