2.0l 16v Track Day car!?

Recommended Posts

I've been lurking around here for a while. Blinkin' excellent stuff on here. Just wish it was around when I had my tweeked G60.

Anyway...

Been saving up the cash for ages and looking to get a Corrado again for TDs and some local Sprint events.

Can't afford a 1.8T conversion so looking to tune a 2.0l 16v C, with some TSR bits. So far their Pack A head, 276 cams, and manifold looks nice!? Solid lifter setup sounds interesting, though too much cost.

Can the larger G60 brake setup be retro-fitted onto a 2.0l 16v?

Is there any suspension difference between the G60 and 2.0l 16v?

Hoping to get a high mileage late 2.0l 16v in the new year and rebuild the engine.

Yes it can all the same system straight bolt on

again the same setup so you can use g60 suspension on a 16v and viceversa

Thanks aposegil.

I'm going to see what Stealth recommend to get extra bhp.

Looking for C's now, so should get to test drive a 2.0l 16v sometime soon. Hoping it won't feel too slow in standard trim...

Can't wait to own my favorite car again. Had several new cars since I let my G60 go, and none of them I looked back at after getting out.
