The 4 or 5 minute segment itself is on YouTube - search for 5th gear scirocco. Not sure which car deserves the compliments really - the Mini for keeping up with the pretty brisk Scirocco, or for VW for creating a car which can keep up with the almighty Mini on a track!

Theres no denying the Mini's abilities but I cant get over how expensive they are for what is a small car.

 

I looked at one when they first came out and took one for a test drive when I had my G60. The guy took mine out for a drive and loved it. I couldnt justify spending £11k+ on something that was probably less fun.
