taffyjenks 0 Posted February 8, 2009 Hi I have a 1990 Corrado 1.8 16v and I seem to have a problem with the steering.When I turn the steering when moving off the steering seems to judder a lot on either lock.I suspect a problem with the pump as other owners tell me that this is a common problem.Just welcome any advice before going out and purchasing another. Richie_t 0 Posted February 8, 2009 Tony Have you checked the belt tension? and fluid level? A loose belt doesnt always squeak. An lowfluid could mean air in the system but they normally self bleed really well but lots of lock to lock stationary with a tight blet and around 1800rpm should do it.
